This role requires the ability to differentiate instruction across two grade levels simultaneously while fostering academic growth and spiritual development within a Christ-centered environment.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nPlan and deliver core curriculum (reading, writing, math, science, social studies) differentiated for both 3rd and 4th grade standards within a single classroom.\nManage a combined classroom environment, including behavior management and age-appropriate expectations for both grade levels.\nAssess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and families.\nIntegrate a biblical worldview and Christian values throughout instruction.\nCommunicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.\nCollaborate with other teachers and staff on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.\nEducational & Professional Requirements\nMust be at least 18 years old.\nBachelor's degree required; Multiple Subject teaching credential (CA) preferred.\nPrior teaching experience, especially in combo/multi-grade or elementary classrooms, strongly preferred.\nMust pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check and provide proof of legal work authorization.\nMust complete TB clearance prior to employment.\nMust complete mandated reporter training as a condition of employment.\nFaith-Based Requirements\nAgreement with EBCA's Statement of Faith.\nParticipation in a Christian church community.\nWillingness to support the mission and values of a Christian school environment.\nNon-Discrimination Statement\nEmerge Berkeley Christian Academy (EBCA) admits staff and students of any race, color, national origin, or ethnic origin, or disability to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to students at the school.
