{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c8f35aa458c9dd89604a822d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c8f35aa458c9dd89604a822d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c8f35aa458c9dd89604a822d","title":"Technical Program Manager","description":"Technical Program Manager -Enterprise Systems, Infrastructure, & IT Operations / Extendable, W2 only, 6-month Contract / Hybrid or remote / Palo Alto, CA\r\nResponsibilities\r\nLead end-to-end delivery of IT programs spanning enterprise systems, infrastructure, and operational initiatives.\r\nDevelop project plans, timelines, and roadmaps aligned to business and technical priorities.\r\nIdentify dependencies, risks, and constraints, and communicate mitigation plans.\r\nManage budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables as needed.\r\nCollaborate with enterprise systems teams (ERP, finance, HRIS, supply chain, CRM), infrastructure, and IT operations.\r\nFacilitate alignment between business stakeholders, technical leads, and executive sponsors.\r\nContribute to PMO governance frameworks and standardized processes.\r\nEstablish consistent project intake, prioritization, and portfolio management practices.\r\nMentor team members and champion continuous improvement.\r\nProvide clear status reports and executive-level presentations summarizing progress and risks.\r\nEnsure documentation, meeting notes, and project materials are complete and up to date.\r\nPartner with business teams on change management, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nStrong experience managing complex technical programs in an IT organization.\r\nBackground delivering projects in at least two of the following areas\r\nInfrastructure (network, data center, servers, storage, cloud).\r\nDemonstrated ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.\r\nExperience managing vendors, partners, and cross-functional workstreams.\r\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations.\r\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities.\r\nExperience with setting up and managing projects in Jira and Confluence.\r\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, and hybrid models.\r\nAbility to create and maintain effective project documents, dashboards, and reports.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience contributing to or establishing PMO governance and standards.\r\nExperience with enterprise portfolio management tools.\r\nComfort working in environments undergoing transformation or modernization.\r\nCertifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSM, ITIL Foundation, or SAFe credentials.\r\nExperience with cloud platforms and modern enterprise SaaS ecosystems.\r\nBackground with integrations, data flows, and cross-system dependencies.\r\nPay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
