Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Convention Services Manager, based in San Antonio, TX. The Convention Services Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing events, group blocks and conferences, ensuring they meet client expectations. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with clients to understand their needs, managing event details such as room layouts, catering, rooming lists, and collaborating with the sales and operations teams to deliver exceptional service. The role also involves addressing and resolving any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.QualificationsExperience in Convention Services and Conference Services to effectively oversee and execute event logistics.Skills in Meeting Planning and Event Planning to design and coordinate successful events.Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction to ensure client needs and expectations are met and exceeded.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in event management software is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously.Flexible schedule to accommodate varying event requirements, including evenings and weekends.
