We are a mixed animal veterinary hospital seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, committed candidate with a positive attitude to fill our part-time or full-time Veterinary Assistant position. We are happy to consider a candidate with Veterinary Assistant experience or one with customer service experience that is willing to learn all the ins and outs of veterinary care. Full-Time Hours per Week: 30 – 40 Part-Time Hours per Week: 15 - 30 Schedule: Weekdays, frequent Saturdays Compensation: $19.00 + /hour DOE Qualifications Outstanding customer service skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Basic computer knowledge and skills Ability to effectively multi-task during times of stress Microsoft Office skills Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, frequently working in a bent position, occasionally in inclement weather Work well professionally with all levels of clinic team members Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
