It's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly changing world.\n\nOverview:\n\nResponsible for operating necessary equipment to store, supply, and move materials for manufacturing processes as required.\n\nResponsibilities:\nEnsures production processes are supplied with materials as instructed\nPerform written safety checks on material handling equipment\nPerforms weigh counts for materials and stores them as necessary\nRemoves trash from manufacturing areas\nAssists in manufacturing processes and changeovers as requested\nOperates material movement equipment as needed in a safe and efficient manner to prevent injury to self, others and other equipment\nMaintains a clean work area, consolidates containers of like parts and moves empty containers to designated storage areas\nEnters production on “make” items, generates move or scrap transactions as needed to ensure inventory accuracy, and keeps proper identification with material in the department\nVerifies and maintains product identification and count\nMoves properly marked material to non-conforming hold area as instructed by supervision and performs necessary transactions\nSupports departmental goals and objectives for safety, quality, production and equipment maintenance\nSupports receiving by verifying conformance to invoices and stocking all received components on the appropriate shelf location\nResponsible for accurate weighing and documenting of scrapped materials for inventory accuracy, communicates issues or concerns with supervisor and/or production lead\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nQualifications/Skills:\nAbility to complete a Powered Industrial Truck training offered by the organization\nAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructions, and apply to work standards\nListens and obtains clarification, responds well to questions\nAbility to communicate in verbal and written English\nRequires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling\nRequires eye/hand/foot coordination\nRequires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions\nAbility to work night shift, Monday through Thursday (possible Friday OT), 6pm to 6am\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
