Must practice excellent troubleshooting methods and be able to work effectively in a team environment. This position is on the front night compressed workweek shift (Sun, Mon, Tue, every other Sat 6:15 PM to 6:30 AM).\n\nEssential Functions\n\nRepair and maintain TEL Alpha 8 furnace systems.\nRepair and maintain AMAT/AG RTP systems.\nRead and interpret mechanical prints and electrical/electronic schematics.\nWork with systems containing radiation, electrical, mechanical, liquid, and gas hazards.\nPractice effective and productive written and verbal communication.\nDocument work in maintenance logs effectively.\nFollow procedures and instructions.\nAble to contribute as a reliable and effective team member with minimal supervision.\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAA degree in a technical field or equivalent semiconductor industry experience, military training or technical degree.\n7+ years of experience in Diffusion equipment maintenance.\nSolid organizational, documentation, and writing skills.\nCreative problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nSelf-directed, self-motivated.\nProficient with MS Office products.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAdditional experience in other fab maintenance areas.\nExperience with AMAT Centura Systems\nSpecial Requirements\n\nParticipation as an active member of the Fab 4 ERT (Emergency Response Team).\nAbility to meet the requirements of the ERT physical.\nMust pass a physical, fit test, and medical clearance for the use of a tight-fitting respirator (SCBA full-face mask level).\nMust maintain physical requirements for wearing SCBA full-face mask level.\nMust be able and willing to travel for training purposes.\nCritical Physical Requirements\nAble to lift, push, pull approx. 50 lbs; carry 50 lbs; sit 5%; stand 60%; walk 35%; must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing.
