Internship - Wastewater Treatment
Job Skills / Requirements Duties and Responsibilities - Participates in field operations at Waste Water Treatment Facilities (WWTF) throughout Spartanburg County - Assists in collecting/analyzing process samples while recording results - Supports day to day administrative/organizational functions at the WWTF for all departments including -Operations, Industrial Pretreatment and Above Ground Maintenance - Performs comparative research on efficiency of current operational/scientific practices versus other potential practices - Accomplishes data entry and assists in presenting research through compilation of results into graphical analysis Requirements - Enrollment in an institution of higher learning or certification program with an emphasis in environmental studies or relatable subject - Basic computer skills - Experience with Excel - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work out-of-doors and also inside a laboratory with equal enthusiasm Benefits - Hourly rate $15.00 - Work with experienced water professionals - Perform work/research to provide excellent service to the community while protecting water resources - Gain knowledge of the Spartanburg Water system This job reports to the Rick Jolley This is a Temporary / Seasonal position1st Shift.
