Day-time availability between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. including holidays required. Weekends required during peak seasons. Average 40 hours per week.Responsibilities:Greet all customers when entering and exiting the storePromote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and be able to clearly explain all benefitsAccurately balance cash drawer at the end of the dayMaintain a clean working environment and personal work spaceEngage in conversation with the customer to add a personal touch to each and every transactionEnd each transaction by saying "thank you" to every customerMaintain a professional appearance on the sales floorContribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growthAbility to perform basic math; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memosAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employeesDemonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skillsStrong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphereExercise judgment and tact while working with customers or co workersStrong oral/written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organizationAbility to work assigned schedules which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidaysAssist in all other duties as assignedSchedule: Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available minimum of two weekends a month.
