{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c8cfa2b1b5fd9e2c07abcdac","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c8cfa2b1b5fd9e2c07abcdac","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c8cfa2b1b5fd9e2c07abcdac","title":"Field Project Engineer – Piping & Mechanical","description":"Position: Field Engineer (Mechanical/Piping)\nLocation: Spring TX (Onsite)\nClient: Quest Global\nExp: 5-12 Yrs\nExecutive Summary:\nEmbedded Field Engineers (Mechanical/Piping) are responsible for providing technical support for operations and maintenance of pipeline, tank farm and/or fuels terminal assets.\nQualifications:\n5-10 years of Field engineering experience in the piping/mechanical discipline.\nSuccessful completion of Design/Drafting curriculum from an accredited institution (Preferred).\nRole and Responsibilities:\nShall act as a conduit for inputs and field information to offshore team in Bengaluru, India.\nSupporting facility projects which may include terminals, tank farms, pipelines and salt dome storage facilities.\nIncludes supporting several projects in various stages, comprehending scope definition, engineering design, HAZOP, estimate development, material and service procurement, schedule development and construction.\nPreferred to have knowledge of pumps, piping, valves, flow meters, tanks, salt domes, flares, docks, foundations, structures and other mechanical- and civil-related assets.\nPerform field verification, identify scope, prepare work packages and develop draft technical proposal.\nA portion of the field work may involve domestic travel and overnight stays.\nAttention to detail - Field/Walk-down and data gathering/measurement experience.
