This person will support, protect, and implement new hardware/software that support our satellite bus systems: Lanteris 300, Lanteris 500, Lanteris 1300, and Power Propulsion Element platforms. The role will be on site in our San Jose office.\r\nResponsibilities Collaborate with hardware and software leads to understand, capture, and execute on requirements and design specifications.\r\nTroubleshoot infrastructure problems and provide solutions for fixes.\r\nDesign, develop, and upgrade operating systems that support existing tooling and future tooling.\r\nCollaborate across the company for common fixes, best practices, and networking infrastructure.\r\nMinimum Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.\r\nFour additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\r\nFamiliarity with Linux and Windows system administration.\r\nFamiliarity with Networking and Operating Systems.\r\nAbility to script for automation.\r\nExperience in cyber security and hardening/system upgrades.\r\nExperience working with shell scripting.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Professional experience in the aerospace industry.\r\nExperience supporting Windows-based machines.\r\nExperience in satellite hardware test, build, and integration.\r\nExperience with modern cloud-based Software Development Lifecycle Management & productivity tools/workflows (Amazon EKS/EC2/ECR, Microsoft Azure, Google CE).\r\nKnowledge of legacy hardware and software architecture.\r\nExperience creating and debugging Linux environments.\r\nExperience with automation systems.\r\nKnowledge of network boot environments.\r\nCompensation & Benefits Base pay for this position in California: $77,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year.
