Sr Social Media Community PartnerPosition OverviewWere looking for a highly adaptable and proactive Social Media Community Manager to help manage and grow our social media presence across key platforms. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, collaborative, and comfortable shifting priorities as needed, while always keeping brand voice, audience experience, and business goals top of mind.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day community management and moderation across social platforms, fostering positive audience relationships and enforcing community guidelines.Develop and execute content plans and editorial calendars in collaboration with content, creative, and product teams to support campaign objectives and seasonality.Create and edit social copy, prompts, and short-form content; guide strategy and hashtag use to maximize discovery and engagement.Monitor social listening and brand sentiment tools to surface trends, escalate issues, and inform proactive reputation management.Design and implement crisis communication playbooks; coordinate rapid response with legal, PR, and senior stakeholders when required.Manage influencer outreach and partnerships, including briefing, performance tracking, and relationship stewardship.Plan and optimize paid social campaigns in partnership with media teams (Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok For Business), ensuring alignment with organic community strategies.Define and track KPIs, run A/B tests and audience segmentation experiments, and deliver regular analytics reports using tools such as Google Analytics, platform insights, and data visualization dashboards.Provide social customer support and case management using social CRM and helpdesk tools (Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud), ensuring SLAs and quality responses.Operate and optimize social management platforms (Khoros, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprinklr) to streamline publishing, moderation, and reporting workflows.Produce asset-ready content or provide creative guidance using Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut); run live streams with OBS.Maintain governance around GDPR/CCPA compliance and accessibility (WCAG) best practices for social content and community interactions.Document processes, create playbooks, and mentor junior community specialists to scale best practices across regions and business units.Collaborate with product, legal, customer success, and analytics teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and escalate customer insights into product improvements.Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in social media community management, moderation, or related roles, preferably in a global or enterprise environment.Proven track record of managing communities, escalation workflows, crisis response, and reputation management.Strong content skills including copywriting and editorial calendar management.Hands-on experience with social listening and analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations (Google Analytics, platform analytics, Data Studio, Tableau).Experience planning and optimizing paid social campaigns and familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok For Business, and YouTube Studio.Proficiency with social publishing and moderation platforms (Khoros, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprinklr) and CRM/helpdesk systems (Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud).Practical skills in basic HTML/CSS, SEO for social, hashtag strategy, and A/B testing methodologies.Asset production skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and basic video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut); experience running live streams (OBS) is a plus.Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI reporting, audience segmentation, and data-driven campaign optimization using Excel and Google Sheets.Familiarity with CMS platforms, collaboration tools (Slack, Asana, Trello), and data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau).Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred; relevant certifications (social advertising, analytics) a plus.A portfolio or examples of prior community programs, crisis responses, campaign work, or content samples available upon request.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information.
