SLT (Salaried Leadership Training) is perfect for people with no management experience but want to be more than a cook or cashier. You have talent and want to grow.\n2. Assistant Managers is perfect for those who have some management experience but want additional training to grow your career.\n3. General Store Managers is perfect for those who have extensive management experience but looking for a different culture, advancement opportunities or want to relocate to one of our markets.\nStarting in 1999, Something Different has been serving Eastern New Mexico and West Texas some of the best food you can find. With a focus on healthy, \"normal\" food with convenient service options, SDG has grown year over year. As we continue to grow, both revenue in our current stores, as well as the addition of new stores, we are looking for people to help us with that purpose.\nDuties and Responsibilities: (Varies among postions)\nManages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/ Team members\nDirects and assigns restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards\nAdheres to and monitors employee compliance of the employee handbook, policies and practices\nPerforms restaurant opening and/or closing duties\nPrepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels\nMonitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels\nPlaces orders for food, paper and other supplies within cost control procedures\nCompletes and maintains all restaurant employment related records and payroll records\nReinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times\nImmediately and respectfully resolves guest requests.\nReports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaints\nInterview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levels\nPrepare all necessary operational reports. Develop appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends\nDevelop and implement a local marketing plan\nAdditional Management Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
