Support of various automation projects and improvements will also be required on as needed.\n\nRole and Responsibilities\n\nHere’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:\n\nAct as the primary resource for designing, building, troubleshooting, debugging, and testing web‑applications.\n\nIdentify business needs and recommend data‑system or tool solutions.\n\nCollaborate with teammates to align development work with product road‑maps.\n\nExtract and analyze data from company databases to uncover gaps and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.\n\nEvaluate the accuracy of new and existing data sources, diagnosing root‑cause errors.\n\nCreate and maintain custom data models/algorithms, monitoring performance to boost operational metrics.\n\nOwn the full web‑app lifecycle—development, modifications, upgrades, and maintenance.\n\nGather Voice‑of‑the‑Customer (VOC) feedback for new features and enhancements.\n\nBuild internal automation and tools to streamline SCM processes.\n\nDeliver full‑stack solutions, including: Database- schema design, table creation, stored procedures, and SQL (PostgreSQL) / Web‑app - FastAPI, Python, Vue.js, Streamlit, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery.\n\nMentor junior engineers and advise management on technical projects, incidents, and changes.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\nHere's what you'll need:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of software‑development experience.\n\nProficient in Python, Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and PostgreSQL.\n\nExperience designing scalable application schemas and systems.\n\nStrong multitasking and project‑management abilities.\n\nExcellent communication skills across departments and organizational levels.\n\nSolid data‑analytics background with the ability to build and operate dynamic, scalable systems.\n\nSemiconductor, manufacturing, or supply‑chain experience is a plus.\n\nThe current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.\n\nTotal Rewards\nAt Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package.
