platform to a modern technology stack while ensuring quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.Create, execute and optimise performance and load testing strategies with JMeter.Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test case creation and improve test coverage.Collaborate with developers, architects and stakeholders to define testing approaches and quality standards.Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.Identify defects early and provide clear reporting, analysis and recommendations.Operate autonomously within Agile delivery teams, taking ownership of testing activities from planning through execution.Must-Have Skills:Strong commercial experience with Playwright test automation.Proven experience using JMeter for performance and load testing.Experience using AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or similar) to create and maintain automated tests.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing outcomes.Previous experience within Agile environments.Based within the European Economic Area.Nice-to-Have:Experience supporting large-scale application migration or modernisation programmes.API testing experience.CI/CD pipeline exposure.Experience as the primary or sole tester within a delivery
