You’ve probably seen our products in the media featured on tv shows and magazines such as HGTV, Style At Home and House & Home, or by one of our Instagram influencers.\nWhat You’ll Do\nThe Material Handler is responsible for working with our incoming lumber on the prep side of the plant, or the processing of our finished goods products on the moulder side of the plant.\nShift Timings\nDay Shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday\nWho You Are\nRequirements:\nLearn Metrie grading standards and sort materials for optimal usage\nAbility to correctly interpret sorting/piling instructions\nCapable of lifting 25 lbs. regularly and 50-60 lbs. occasionally\nA strong ability to adapt to changing conditions and complete various tasks\nSelf-motivation and a demonstrated focus on achieving company goals\nThe ability to work methodically to the pace set by the machine center\nUse downtime to assist with cleanup and work area organization\nOther duties as assigned by Supervisor\nPersonal Standards:\nAbility to cooperate and effectively collaborate with coworkers\nSelf-motivated with a focus on company goals and values\nHigh level of integrity and strong work ethic\nSafety:\nKeep work area neat, clean and free of hazards\nWear required PPE at all times\nFollow proper lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) policy at all times\nReport unsafe incidents and conditions\nUse proper lifting techniques\nMaintain awareness of safety hazards in work areas and throughout the plant\nWhat Metrie Offers\nA collaborative work environment that has clear direction for future strategy and goals.\nHourly Pay $18/hour\nComprehensive benefits package – medical, dental, and life insurance.
