Monday Thursday (Onsite); Friday (Remote).\n\nAbout the Role & Team:\nAt Experiences Technology, our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company's premier vacation brands including Parks & Resorts worldwide, Cruise Line, Resort & Spa, and Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including the app.\n\nThe Senior Technical Project Manager is charged with the delivery of complex software development projects across multiple disciplines and Lines of Business for the Retail Technology organization. You will blend program management, project delivery, along with financial and product experience. You will ensure on-time and on-schedule delivery for their projects working closely with Product, Technology, Operations and Design. A large portion of the role will also drive a product centric portfolio, providing strategic roadmap of annual and long-term capital and expense plans. You will also focus on portfolio forecast planning, capacity planning, and prioritization. You will maintain reports and presentations for executive level communications and anticipate risks, impacts, and opportunities within the portfolio. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership with many technical and non-technical teams is essential.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nSupport Leadership with a strategic mindset\nFacilitate scope definition, and high-level planning, discovery, and estimation workshops for projects with cross-functional teams\nQuantify cost factors to deliver project deliverables including resources, project oversight, objective risk and related contingency\nPrepare and present high-level plan with estimates for executives and cross-functional leaders based on estimate outcomes Project Planning\nEnsure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones and deliverable tasks\nEstablish project financial forecasts including resource plans and other expense plans\nEnsure necessary steps and dependencies to deliver projects and components are established\nValidate that scope can be completed within timeline and budget\nEstimate resource needs with help from functional leads Project Delivery\nConfidently lead and drive cross-functional projects, and individual project tracks of large programs through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered on-time and on-budget\nServe as primary liaison among multiple teams, including Product Management, Design, Technology, Operations/Continuous Delivery, Release Management, vendors and other key functional delivery teams for the project (when appropriate)\nCommunicate regular updates to project and executive leadership team on delivery progress, plan updates and budget spend and forecast, including status report updates, financial/budget/variance reports, and other reporting as required\nMonitor adherence to schedule and milestone commitments\nEscalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation\nPrevent scope creep, record causes of change, and facilitate change requests to ensure impacts to schedule or budget, as well as forecasts, are approved and communicated in a timely manner\nEnsure proper project closure including retro-actives/lessons learned, transition and hand-off to production operations support, and final financial reporting.\nEstablish and refine processes for key financial planning milestones (Long Term Capital Plan, Annual Capital Plan).\nProvide results for key financial activities such as Long-Term Plan, Annual Capital Plan, Annual Operating Plan.\nDevelop and maintain ongoing project prioritization algorithm and model\nWork with business partners to recommend prioritization and rationalization for decision-making with leaders.\nGather, analyze, and maintain reports for capacity planning, forecast rationalization and initiative prioritization.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\nA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, hybrid delivery experience), vendor management experience\nTell a compelling story when communicating to Leadership\nHave experience working in a matrix organization\nDirect management and accountability for single project budgets of $2-5M\nDemonstrated analysis/assessment capabilities\nBe able to work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity\nMust be detail-oriented, self-organized, capable of tracking multiple issues simultaneously while possessing excellent time management skills\nThrive in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle, shift gears, and maintain a sense of humor; deliver under extreme deadlines and intense business environment\nMust possess excellent business communication, writing, and interpersonal skills\nComfortable when communicating with executive level (Directors, VPs) in presentations, working sessions, and 1-on-1 interactions\nPracticed in negotiating with others in ways that result in win/win agreements and outcomes\nMust be open to coaching and guidance\nTake a proactive approach to problem-solving; sharing reporting & insights to make actionable recommendations to Executives on behalf of the team.\nConsistently evaluating processes and seeking for ways to improve at every iteration, driving solutions for process improvements, standardization, and efficiency within the organization.\n\nRequired Education:\nBachelor's degree in business, finance, industrial engineering or another quantitative field.\n\nAbout Software Resources\nSoftware Resources, founded more than 3 decades ago, is a trusted staffing partner specializing in Technology (IT, Creative, & Marketing), Finance, & Accounting placements.
