Guards against fire, theft, vandalism, altercations, illegal activity, and unauthorized entry to property by performing the following duties while maintaining the Core Values that support the Code 3 Security and Investigation, to the Fullest.\nWork Environment\nMay be subject to hostile employees, visitors, residents, and violent situations.\nExposure to outside weather conditions.\nAppropriate ergonomic and personal safety equipment is provided as needed.\nResponsibilities- This responsibilities description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Employees may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable federal, state and local standards.\nPatrol the assigned post on foot and/or by vehicle to maintain a safe environment and provide security for visitors, residents and employees.\nSurvey the community for safety hazards, fires, suspicious people or other hazardous conditions.\nEnsure security of doors, windows and gates by performing routine checks.\nProvide information or escort service to buildings, parking lots, events, or locations to authorized guests as needed.\nRespond to any physical alarms.\nAssist with minor task as requested by company or client.\nPick up trash during rounds as needed.\nMonitor safety of guest and notify EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire Department as needed.\nProvide directional assistance to EMS, Law Enforcement, Fire Department as needed.\nInvestigate theft and property damage reports.\nMake sure property guest have the proper passes if required.\nWrite a concise and factual report on each incident that occurred during a shift.\nID verification for legal age prior to admission.\nDirect communication with management.\nFollow and enforce rules of assigned post with an attentive nature.\nWears assigned uniform cleanly laundered, wrinkle free, shirt must be tucked in with belt.\nMonitor patron behavior and level of intoxication\nRemoves obnoxious and offensive persons with as much professionalism as possible.\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- To achieve job success, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
