You will play a vital role in delivering accurate statutory reporting, timely remittance submissions, and resolving payroll tax issues, while also supporting payroll processing as needed. You will have hands on exposure to payroll operations, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and participation in audits and compliance initiatives.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport, reconcile, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns for U.S. federal, state, and local agenciesResearch and respond to monthly variances related to payroll and tax accountsReconcile quarterly and annual payroll tax reports for federal agencies, states, and other local entitiesResearch and respond to federal, state, and local tax notices, and support the response for tax audits and jurisdictional inquiriesResearch required payroll taxes for federal agencies, states, provinces, and local entities and ensure these jurisdictions are updated on time in our on-premise payroll system for proper employee and company withholdingQualificationsRequired Qualifications: Currently pursing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or TaxationMinimum GPA of 3.0 Interest in learning and understanding payroll including garnishments, bonus payments, special payments, and payroll taxes for the USStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailIntermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, charts, and graphs would be preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for professional interactions with internal and external stakeholdersStrong customer service orientationAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
