Filtration Engineering Intern
Repligen is seeking a Filtration Engineering Intern to support hands-on engineering work at our Rancho Dominguez location. This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to practical, self‑contained engineering focused project deliverables with immediate business impact. The intern will work under the guidance of the Process Engineering Manager, to support manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives. Join us!ResponsibilitiesDesign, create detailed drawings, fabricate, and implement fixturesApply practical mechanical and process design principles to real manufacturing challengesComplete at least one self‑contained project from concept through implementation within an 8–12 week internship timeframeCharacterize and validate equipment processesPresent project deliverables to internal team and site-level stakeholdersQualificationsWorking toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, materials, biomedical, electrical, or chemical engineering or related disciplines.Interest in or exposure to engineering design, fabrication, or process improvementDemonstrate experience reading and preparing technical drawings (GD&T)Knowledge of Solidworks and/or CADGood interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomouslyAbility to work in a clean-room environment and comfortable working with equipmentAbility to work on hands‑on and practical engineering problems with measurable outcomesCapability to manage and complete a defined project within an 8–12 week summer internship periodWillingness to work onsite in Rancho Dominguez within a Filtration Engineering environmentOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $23/Hr. - $26/Hr. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
