Our national scale allows us to help our clients develop and implement standardized solutions at any of their facilities regardless of physical location or the local resources available at that site.\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to help with growing, developing, and managing the Design Team. The Control Systems Designer Supervisor and the Design Team supports the PMO by drafting and designing control panels, MCCs, P&IDs, etc. to assist in the successful completion of projects for Automation Group's customers.\nThis position will report onsite to our Modesto, CA location.\nYou Will:\nWorks with the Design Manager to schedule all required design work\nKeeps aware of project schedule dates to assure drafting work is on time\nOversee, schedule, and check Controls Designers work for accuracy and completeness\nAttend kick-off-meetings, job walks, project conference calls, etc. as required for projects\nDraft and design of control panels, MCCs, P&IDs, single lines, and control documents required\nKeeps current AutoCAD revisions and tools, attends trainings as needed to keep up to date\nWork directly with Controls Engineers, Sales Engineers, PMO, and customers to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions\nUse corporate/client drawing standards as guidelines\nUtilize drafting resources to create new tools to increase efficiency\nLead, grow, and mentor Controls Designers\nYou Have:\n8+ years of experience producing electrical control panel designs and drawings\nExperience with AutoCAD Electrical 2011 and appropriate add ins\nExperience with Microsoft Office\nExperience leading a team\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nA DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork\nBenefits & Perks:\n401k + match + prompt enrollment.
