Math Tutor Needed - High School Level Math in Tacoma

Since 1979, Sylvan has been helping students catch up, keep up and get ahead! We are seeking an after-school math teacher to work with our students teaching math at the high school level, which may include Algebra, Geometry and Pre-Calculus. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in math related field and/or Teaching Certificate 6-12 certified. Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students! We offer a warm and friendly working environment with a short training program and a dedicated schedule. This position is part-time and may perfect for a substitute teacher, a retired teacher, or a teacher on hiatus who would like to work in our center a couple of days per week. Hours may include Mon-Thu after school and/or Saturday mornings. Work as little as 2 days per week. Possible days/times include: Mon-Thurs 3:00-7:00pm and Saturdays 9:00 - 1:00.
