This role is ideal for a technically strong program leader who can operate independently, engage deeply with engineering and architecture teams, and translate complex technical initiatives into clear, achievable execution plans.\r\nDay-to-Day Lead multiple technical programs across engineering teams using Agile delivery models.\r\nBreak complex initiatives into actionable workstreams, milestones, and sprint plans.\r\nPartner with engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders on technical strategy and delivery.\r\nDrive programs involving cloud-native platforms, APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems.\r\nManage cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and delivery commitments.\r\nDevelop execution plans covering architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.\r\nFacilitate technical discussions and challenge delivery strategies, tradeoffs, and assumptions.\r\nTrack program health using data, metrics, and continuous improvement practices.\r\nCommunicate program status, risks, decisions, and dependencies to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.\r\nIdentify opportunities to leverage existing platforms, capabilities, and infrastructure to accelerate delivery.\r\nDrive alignment across dependent teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.\r\nMust-Have Skills & Experience Strong experience in Technical Program Management / Engineering Program Management.\r\nExperience delivering cloud-native software products or platforms at scale.\r\nStrong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\r\nExperience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and platform architecture.\r\nHands-on understanding of software development and testing.\r\nExperience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.\r\nStrong experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.\r\nProven ability to manage complex programs spanning multiple engineering teams and dependencies.\r\nAbility to engage deeply with engineers and architects and understand technical tradeoffs.\r\nStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.\r\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence engineers, peers, business leaders, and executives.\r\nDemonstrated ability to operate independently and drive outcomes with minimal direction.\r\nNice-to-Have Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or transaction processing.\r\nExperience with IaaS, PaaS, or serverless technologies.\r\nKnowledge of NoSQL databases.\r\nExperience with Kubernetes / containers and cloud infrastructure.\r\nExperience with event-driven or highly distributed architectures.\r\nExperience with large-scale platform engineering or infrastructure programs.\r\nExperience with observability, reliability, SRE, or distributed systems operations.\r\nExperience driving continuous improvement across multiple engineering organizations.\r\nEducation Requirement Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\r\nEquivalent technical education and relevant professional experience may be considered.\r\nIdeal Background Candidates with a background as a Technical Program Manager, Senior Technical Program Manager, Principal TPM, Engineering Program Manager, or Platform/Cloud Program Manager are encouraged to apply.\r\nStrong candidates often come from engineering-heavy environments involving cloud platforms, payments, financial technology, large-scale consumer technology, infrastructure, or distributed systems.\r\nA reasonable, good faith estimate of the hourly range for this position is $70-$75/hour on W2.\r\nAbout us: Harvey Nash is a national, full-service talent management firm specializing in technology positions.
