Mobile Radiology Technologist

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mobile Radiology Technologist, where your expertise will bring advanced imaging services directly to patients in Skilled Nursing settings. This role offers an opportunity to both start and end the day from your home, utilizing a company vehicle while driving throughout the area with easy to use digital mobile x-ray equipment. It's a very free environment when compared to a hospital or imaging center setting where you are assigned cases over your phone via computer and work with dispatch coordinators who assist as needed. We are growing and are looking for x-ray technologists in multiple areas throughout Northern California and have flexibility to work with you on the schedule you work. Responsibilities Manage your schedule throughout the day while communicating with home office. Operate a mobile x-ray machine with digital capabilities as well as ekg machine. Interact professionally with nurses and patients. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring their comfort, and applying aseptic techniques when necessary. Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images while adhering to safety protocols and radiation protection standards. Transmit high-quality imaging results to board certified radiologists. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure all imaging procedures meet the highest standards of medical terminology accuracy, anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and diagnostic radiology best practices. Skills Extensive knowledge of x-ray imaging. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately capture images for diagnostic purposes. Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes to communicate effectively with medical teams. Skilled in aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures requiring sterile conditions. Ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining patient comfort and safety standards.
