When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.\nResponsibilities:\nAs the DevSecOps Systems Engineer, you will help identify and plan new capabilities to support mission operations. The DevSecOps Systems Engineer should have expertise across the digital engineering spectrum including modeling, strategic planning, system integration and “system-of-systems\", user-centric design.\n\nProvide technical leadership in applying DevSecOps concepts, processes, and tools to help the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.g., automation, security compliance, situational awareness, etc.).\nAnalyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements and test-driven development.\nDefine CI/CD delivery standards and conventions to ensure quality and compliance with security measures (NIST Risk Management Framework) and streamline onboarding of applications.\nGuide the configuration of CI/CD pipeline setup and support/resolve technical complexities to integrate various DevSecOps continuous practices as part of the implementation.\nRecommend and implement automated means that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including scripting, integration, problem resolution, and configuration management.\nBuild relationships with developers, stakeholders, and leaders to incorporate security principles into engineering design and deployments.\nDefine maturity models or assessment approaches to measure and accelerate DevSecOps adoption across multiple teams.\nIdentify and communicate system engineering risks, issues, opportunities, assumptions, mitigations, and dependencies.\nProvide technical support to government points of contact.\nEffectively communicate and interface with engineers from various contractors and government organizations.\nDevelop briefings for a variety of audiences, conveying system engineering concepts and decision logic concisely and accurately.\nQualifications & Physical Requirements:\nActive Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.\nBachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar STEM field and nine (9) years or more experience; relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.\n4+ years of experience with DevSecOps and tools.\n2+ years’ experience working within the IC.\nExperience with systems development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps).\nKnowledge of Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).\nExperience with CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, architecture development.\nProgram lifecycle experience from concept development and design to deployment, operations, and maintenance, decommission.\nSelf-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with limited supervision; excels at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.\nAbility to provide technical and programmatic direction on the development, integration, and use of digital engineering/model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering concepts and structures.\nPolished communicator (written/verbal); impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment.\nMaster at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders\n- consensus builder.\nProficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Outlook, MS Project.","company":"Sciolex","rawCompany":"sciolex","city":"Chantilly","state":"VA","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-15T10:44:05.192Z","occupations":[{"code":"15-1299.08","title":"Computer Systems Engineers/Architects","slug":"computer-systems-engineers-architects"},{"code":"15-1252.00","title":"Software Developers","slug":"software-developers"},{"code":"15-1244.00","title":"Network and Computer Systems Administrators","slug":"network-and-computer-systems-administrators"}],"industries":[{"code":"541512","title":"Computer Systems Design Services","slug":"computer-systems-design-services"},{"code":"541511","title":"Custom Computer Programming Services","slug":"custom-computer-programming-services"},{"code":"541519","title":"Other Computer Related Services","slug":"other-computer-related-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"DEVSECOPS Systems Engineer","description":"Overview:\nWhat do you get when you bring together a team of bright individuals and place them into an environment where “work” means making a difference in the lives of people across the globe?\n\nYou get Sciolex Corporation, a fast-growing defense contractor focused on providing the U.S. Government a level of service that surpasses the epitome of excellence.
