Our aesthetic is modern organic: warm, neutral, grounded, and built to feel like home.About the roleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Interior Design Consultant to join our remote team and select furnishing and decor for newly purchased properties. You'll work project by project, following established brand guidelines and budgets to deliver fully sourced, ready-to-stage design packages.This role is ideal for a designer who loves the sourcing and planning side of design, works well within defined systems, and can execute efficiently without hand-holding. There may be times when a site visit, or meeting with a home owner is needed. What you'll doSelect furniture, decor, and textiles for each property following ARHA's aesthetic standards and per-project budgetsWork within a structured project plan, hitting key milestones and due dates for each propertyCreate floor plans and mood/design boards for each projectCompile a complete Furniture & Decor Pick List with sourcing links and quantitiesPrepare curtain rod, TV mount, and window treatment installation instructionsSubmit all final deliverables via OneDrive in ARHA's established folder structureCommunicate clearly with the lead designer for review and approval at project checkpointsProvide replacement recommendations as neededWhat we're looking forExperience selecting and sourcing furnishings and decorA strong eye for warm, livable interiors — our aesthetic leans modern organic, not cold or trendyAbility to work within a defined budget and stay accountable to itComfortable working remotely within a structured project management system (we use Asana)Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, OneDrive)Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyNice to haveExperience with floor plan or mood board software (Canva, AutoCAD, SketchUp, DesignFiles, Houzz Pro, etc)Background in short-term rental or furnished property designLocated in the Dallas–Fort Worth area (strongly preferred)Location & scheduleThis is a fully remote, project-based position. We strongly prefer candidates located in the Dallas or Fort Worth area.
