After School Teacher

*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and nurturing students in a supportive learning environment. *Duties* - Create lesson plans and deliver engaging instruction to students - Assess student progress and provide feedback - Implement effective behavior and classroom management strategies - Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning - Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles - Incorporate educational technology into lessons *Skills* - First aid certification is preferred - Experience in early childhood education or special education is beneficial - Ability to provide tutoring and support for students as needed - Knowledge of childhood development principles - Strong ability to educate and mentor students effectively - Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is a plus - Proficient in behavior management techniques - Excellent classroom management skills Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.92 - $25.19 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week Schedule: 4 hour shift Afternoon shift After school Monday to Friday Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Redwood City, CA 94065 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Redwood City, CA 94065: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
