The ideal candidate will be versatile across multiple functions, including data analysis, mapping, profiling, and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into detailed technical and data specificationsAnalyze business processes and requirements for data-driven projectsGather, document, and define data requirementsTranslate business requirements into data mapping specificationsDevelop a deep understanding of data definitions, relationships, business rules, and data sourcesPerform data profiling and analysis to ensure data quality and integrityTroubleshoot data issues and coordinate with data providers for resolutionWork closely with Data Engineers to implement technical solutionsProvide subject matter expertise to development teamsSupport all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, testing, and implementationEnsure delivered solutions meet business and technical requirementsSupport data governance and data quality initiativesProvide training and ongoing support to business usersRequired Skills:Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modelingAdvanced SQL querying skillsExperience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Strong analytical, data profiling, and troubleshooting abilitiesExperience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem)Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skillsExcellent stakeholder communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational and planning abilitiesMinimum 7 years of experience in financial services technology and data environmentsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BIFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesExperience with programming languages such as PythonUnderstanding of transaction/payment dataExposure to cryptocurrency or digital assets domainMS ID readiness is a plusAdditional Information:Role requires a high level of independence and accountabilityOpportunity to work on complex, data-driven initiativesCollaborative environment with cross-functional teamsPotential for extension based on project needs and performance
