Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech (Dual Modality) with at least 2 years of CT experience to work in an ED-based CT department at a Level 1 Trauma, academic medical center in Winston-Salem, NC.Job Details• ED-based CT department within a Level 1 Trauma, academic medical center featuring a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center,• 885 licensed beds with 54 beds in the department and 4 CT scanners (adult and pediatric),• Average volume of approximately 200 patients per day,• Patient population includes adult and pediatric trauma and stroke cases,• Equipment includes Siemens, GE, and Canon/RadPRO portable CT units, fixed X-ray, mobile X-ray, and mini C-arm,• EMR is Epic,• 10-hour evening shifts; schedule options include Mon-Thu 2:30 PM-1:00 AM or Mon/Tue/Thu 6:30 PM-7:00 AM,• 40 hours per week with a 4-week scheduling cycle,• No weekend rotation (though subject to change) and no on-call requirement,• Floating is limited to within the ED CT department only,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, with most recent experience within the last year,• ARRT certification RT(R)(CT) required,• BLS required,• Proficiency in CT and X-ray required; fluoroscopy setup training can be provided,• Ability to perform both adult and pediatric CT and X-ray exams required,• Ability to remain calm and perform effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment,• Epic EMR experience required,• Active applicable state license required if applicable,• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,Additional Information• Perform CT and X-ray imaging for adult and pediatric ED patients, including high-acuity trauma and stroke cases,• Department is supported by 5 senior staff members providing leadership oversight,• Orientation is up to 5 days depending on experience level,• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays,• Time off requests require manager approval,• Black scrubs are required,• Free parking is available on-site,• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted,• Former employees of any AHSE facility who held a permanent position must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
