In this role, you will hold direct responsibility for full project lifecycles, profit/loss (P&L), schedule performance, and client satisfaction.\nThis role requires a candidate with strong engineering fundamentals and a track record of holding formal Project Manager titles. You will manage projects involving Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, SCADA, or related automation systems across industrial, manufacturing, pipeline, utility, or process facility environments.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFull Project Lifecycle Management: Lead industrial control system projects from scope definition, kickoff, design, and manufacturing through testing, site installation, and commissioning.\nCustomer & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, multi-disciplinary engineering teams, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure clear alignment and high customer satisfaction.\nBudget & Financial Oversight: Direct financial performance and project P&L—tracking costs, monitoring margins, reporting financial status regularly to executive leadership, and generating change orders as needed.\nTimeline & Schedule Control: Define project milestones, track deliverables, allocate resources, and manage schedules to ensure on-time execution.\nRisk Management & Procurement: Identify operational/project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Select and procure electrical contractors and vendors for site installation and field services.\nProcess Improvement: Ensure projects meet strict safety regulations and industry compliance standards while continually optimizing project delivery methodologies.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS\nExperience: 3 to 7 years of successful Project Management experience managing complex control systems, electrical, or automation projects for external, customer-facing clients.\nResume Focus: Proven track record holding formal Project Manager titles with demonstrated, explicit experience managing project budgets, timelines, and the full project lifecycle.\nTechnical Background: Strong background in control systems, industrial automation, or instrumentation (PLCs, DCS, SCADA, or related control platforms). Experience in industrial manufacturing, utilities, pipelines, paper/packaging, or energy facilities preferred (Power/Nuclear plant experience is a plus, but not required).\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) preferred.\nSoft Skills: Exceptional leadership, presentation, contract negotiation, and oral/written communication skills.\nSoftware Tools: Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, SAP, or similar).\nWork Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
