It’s time to look at Taylor.\n\nYour Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Senior RPG Engineer to join their team!\n\nWork Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n\nPlanning, analysis, and implementation of web and windows software applications.\nQuality assurance including unit testing, bug reports, and automated notifications.\nFollowing new technology and best practices, enhancing technical policies and standards.\nContributing technical and process knowledge/skills within project teams, including involvement in e-commerce and web development business initiatives.\nOther duties as assigned, including server/IIS setup, database maintenance, and overall IT project planning.\n\nYou Must Have:\n\n10+ years of programming experience\nExperience with Scott Klement’s HTTPLIB API’s, RPGIV/ILE/FREE\nDatabase experience table/index creation, CL programming, creating/consuming web services, XML or Json files\nILE binding and using binding directories\nAldon or other source management experience\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment\nAbility to work closely with users throughout the lifecycle of application development and deployment\nAbility to demonstrate programming knowledge level\nAnalysis, planning and implementation of web and windows software applications\nUnderstanding of and ability to demonstrate object-oriented programming principles\nAbility to logically structure applications to promote loose coupling\nAbility to understand and implement event driven application development and multithreading\nSQL Server (schemas, queries, stored procedures) – Should be able to write store procedures and interact with SQL server database using .NET, WCF/Web API services\n\nWe Would Also Prefer:\n\nSolid understanding of I-series operations\nExperience with a WMS (Warehouse management system)\n\nThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
