Your attention to detail and financial expertise will help support the financial success of Thompson Thrift’s construction projects.\nKey Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, review, and process financial activity for assigned construction projects in accordance with accounting principles and company standards\nCollect, review, and process subcontractor pay applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies\nPrepare and submit monthly construction project billings with all required supporting documentation\nPartner with project teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of project payables and receivables throughout the project lifecycle\nCommunicate with subcontractors to provide guidance and ensure adherence to company accounting procedures\nIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, increase efficiency, and resolve potential issues\nSupport accurate financial reporting and cost management across assigned construction projects\nOur Ideal Candidate for this Role Education High school diploma required\nAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred\nExperience 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field\nSkills & Attributes Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nProficiency in financial reporting and mathematical calculations\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently\nCollaborative approach to working with construction project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders\nUse of AI in Hiring Thompson Thrift uses AI-assisted tools within our applicant tracking system to support parts of the recruiting process.
