Are you an experienced leader seeking a challenging opportunity with a firm committed to our employees and providing excellence? S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Office Principal to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee.
About the Role:
As an Office Principal, you will be a vital member of the Regional Leadership Team, optimizing the performance of our West Tennessee operations. A successful Office Principal is a self-starter with business development skills, adept at identifying, hiring, and mentoring talent, and attuned to client needs and contract commitments. Your responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, client service, technical quality, resource deployment, employee training, safety, and facility management. You will manage project profitability, revenue generation, budget development, and financial forecasting. Collaborating with corporate, regional, and market directors, you will develop business strategies, secure new opportunities, and enhance market share. Additionally, you will handle recruitment, performance management, training, mentoring, and scheduling to optimize team performance and resource utilization. Ensuring the achievement of KPIs, including profitability, sales, backlog growth, employee engagement, client satisfaction, and effective resource utilization, you will drive sales for the local office's profitable growth.
About You:
You have a minimum of 15 years experience in a related field
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory or management capacity
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in the West Tennessee market
You have a Professional Engineer or Geologist license in Tennessee or the ability to obtain within six months, a plus
You are an ambivert leadership approach that embodies honesty, competence, inspiration, and forward vision
You have strong verbal and written communication skills and good business and/or technical writing skills
You have existing relationships within the local AEC industry required
