Works with moderate supervision and may provide limited training to Entry technicians.\nKey Responsibilities\nIndependently install and terminate structured cabling and pathways per BICSI/IBC/NEC standards for small to mid‑size projects.\nInstall and configure intrusion systems, multi‑camera CCTV systems, and intermediate access control (multi‑door) with basic integrations.\nProgram devices, perform testing and commissioning, and provide end‑user training for L1/L2 systems.\nRead and work from construction plans, shop drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.\nPerform basic conduit bending, retrofit electrical rough‑in on drywall and plaster, and mount racks/enclosures neatly and safely.\nMaintain accurate job documentation and liaise with Project Manager on execution.\nQualifications\nExperience: 2–5 years in low‑voltage/security installation.\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent (associate preferred).\nTechnical: Competent in structured cabling installation, device termination, basic conduit bending and system programming. Solid familiarity with CCTV, intrusion and PACS platforms.\nProblem Solving: Frequently expected to propose solutions among complex alternatives; occasional independent decision‑making.\nSupervision: Operates under general supervision; may receive project plans and adapt implementation as directed.\nCustomer Focus: Good customer service skills; able to represent company onsite.\nRequired Checks & Certifications\nValid driver's license.\nPass background check and drug test.\nESA CAT I and/or NICET FAS I (to be achieved within 12 months of eligibility) and manufacturer certifications as appropriate.\nWork Requirements\nApproximately 80% field work; travel between sites expected.
