Facility Operator/Boiler Operator

Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance service or repairs.Responsibilities1. Provides preventative or corrective maintenance.1.1 Accurately identifies equipment needed.2. Boiler Plant Operation2.1 Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems3. Chiller Plant Operation3.1 Performs operational checks on operating chillers4. Fire Alarm System4.1 Respond to all fire alarm activations/smell of smoke5. HVAC5.1 Understand all AHU operational parameters6. DDC System Operation6.1 Monitors systems for proper operation7. General Maintenance7.1 Painting/ Patching8. Electrical8.1 Maintains and operates the generator.QualificationsEducation: High School graduate or equivalent.Experience: 6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferredLicensure: Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: Any state boiler operator license or plumbing/ Pipefitter license.Special Skills: Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills
