Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement cleaning schedules for staff, ensuring all areas are cleaned according to established standards. Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote professional development and maintain high performance levels. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary while adhering to budget constraints. Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility. Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and inventory usage for reporting purposes. Skills Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management with a focus on housekeeping operations. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and custodial services. Excellent floor care techniques and familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment. Exceptional skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and staff at all levels.
