We currently have an opening for a Service Technician for our John Deere dealership location in Chamberlain, South Dakota. C & B Operations, LLC is a drug-free workplace.\nCompetitive pay based on your experience\nExcellent benefits including – Medical, Dental, Vision, and Accident Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K with a generous match\nProgressive Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays\nOpportunities to grow – We love to promote within and have excellent training programs available to prepare you on-the-job and for your future with us.\nEssential Duties:\nPerforms diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment\nParticipates in Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge\nCompletes all job notes required in conjunction with work assignments\nAccounts for all time on a digital timecard and for all material used in performing assigned duties\nMaintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products\nMaintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion\nMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment\nPromotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer safety and satisfaction\nFollows all safety procedures and works in a safe manner\nAssists with other duties that may be assigned\nQualifications:\nAssociates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred\nAbility to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling\nAbility to work in a team environment\nKnowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment\nExperience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems\nAbility for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks\nWillingness to learn and train in new technologies\nAbility to work overtime to meet customer demands\nValid Drivers License and a safe driving record\nOur goal is to improve the quality of work life by using fair and consistent treatment and providing equal growth opportunities for all team members.
