Job DescriptionReady Cable, Inc. is a post-tension and rebar supply company seeking motivated Structural TxDOT Rebar Detailers/estimators. As part of the Ready Cable team, our initiative is to provide strong customer service in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Ready Cable, Inc. Structural TxDOT Rebar Detailers/estimators are responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers for their estimating bids & projects.Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for detailing Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents Conduct take-offs and quantify materials, labor, and equipment cost Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing Maintain a thorough understanding of TxDOT regulations and requirementsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator/detailer in the construction industry Knowledge of TXDOT Standards and regulations Proficiency in Shear97, ASA , Planswift & AutoCAD Detail-oriented and able to work independentlyCompany DescriptionReady Cable was founded in 1988 with the goal of providing concrete contractors quality products, excellent customer service, quick turn around and the best overall value pricing.
