It specializes in various patient types, including neonates to geriatric patients. Conditions treated include seizures, strokes, trauma, and other neurological issues. The patient ratio is typically 1:1. Support on the unit includes other EEG technicians, Rapid Response Teams, and a supervisor. Experience with Nihon Kohden software is required, while Epic is preferred. Floating may occur to the ICU only. Weekend rotation is required, with holiday expectations applicable if a holiday falls on the workday. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue.
