The client would like the candidates to live within a 30-40 minute driving distance from the plant. The hours vary based upon the department and management. The Engineers can work a 4/10 schedule or a 9/80. They have a meeting every day Monday through Thursday at 6:30am to discuss the previous evenings events. These meetings are mandatory. They will also need to be available to work extended hours as needed.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nControl Systems Engineers will be responsible to ensure the safe and reliable operations of the Distributive Controls System in the terminal.\n\nPLC (Rockwell Automation Control Logix)\n\nConnectivity medium administration and design (Ethernet IP, Control Net, Device Net, Remote I/O, and serial over multiple medium)\n\nEnterprise Network architecture and compliance for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) including but not limited to Server 2003 thru 2012, Network layout, Active Directory, IIS, Role administration, MS‑SQL.\n\nProvide full support for administration of the SCADA systems.\n\nProvide technical input for business and productivity initiatives.\n\nBS or MS in engineering and 10 years of relevant experience with instrumentation and automation. This experience will be a mix of field and office experience.\n\nCandidates should be able to perform instrument data sheets, loop checks, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, calculations, cause and effect, valve sizing, bid evaluation and PLCs and DCSs design and evaluation.\n\nExperience with valves, analyzers, and flow measurement devices are required.\n\nExperience with DCS, SIS, and ESD is required.\n\nShould be familiar with SPI, API, NEC, ISA, and IEC codes and standards.\n\nStrong trouble‑shooting, design and programming skills for PLC and IC technologies.\n\nPrevious work experience with Honeywell Experion, Safety Manager, Control Logix PLCs and Alarm Management.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBS or MS in engineering and 10 years of relevant experience with instrumentation and automation.
