Work must be performed onsite.\r\nWhat you will do\r\nDevelop tools to help sift through large datasets to identify information relevant for modeling efforts.\r\nCreate system models from circuit diagrams, schematics, source code, signal processing algorithms, etc.\r\nWork in multi-disciplinary teams to tackle challenging problems from a wide variety of technologies to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions\r\nDocument, demonstrate, and present research\r\nSolve real world problems that have an impact on national security\r\nWho you are\r\nThis position requires an Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance , for which U.S. citizenship is needed by the U.S. Government\r\nActive CI poly or willingness to obtain one\r\nBS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience\r\nProficiency with modeling tools: SPICE, MATLAB,\r\nProficiency in one or more programming languages: C/C++, Python, etc.\r\nGeneral understanding of electrical engineering: Circuit and flow diagrams, signal processing chains, network traffic data\r\nWilling to travel frequently from an STR office to the customer location in MD, or spend the majority of time at customer location\r\nNice to have\r\nAdvanced foreign language skills\r\nExperience with digital twin development\r\nExpertise in modeling signal processing algorithms, filter design, etc.\r\nEmbedded systems or firmware analysis experience\r\nKnowledge of reverse engineering techniques\r\nAnalyzing protocols or message structures\r\nKnowledge of binary file structures and formats\r\nDeveloping automated reverse engineering or software analysis tools\r\nDeveloping disassembler/decompiler modules\r\nDebugging software without source code\r\nAnalyzing and reconstructing code/data flow\r\nPay Information\r\nFull-Time Salary Range: $157,000 - $224,000\r\nSTR is an equal opportunity employer.
