Summary: Under the direction of the Coordinator of Therapy Services or designate and in accord with agency and profession specific guidelines, this position is responsible for the evaluation and assessment of program participants/students utilizing appropriate assessment tools and techniques. The incumbent will prepare initial evaluation and progress reports as required as well as design and implement goals, treatment plans and clinical interventions based on the evaluation and assessment and in accord with individual needs. The Occupational Therapist will oversee and approve all profession specific tasks as conducted by the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.QualificationsMust meet and maintain all academic, experiential and licensure requirements of the agency and professional, state or local governing agencies.
