This positions is located in Pecos, TX.\n\nThis role will be primarily responsible for the following:\nOversee all facets of facility construction planning, supervision & execution.\nAssist engineers with the development of construction estimates, participate in design reviews, and provide input on schedules / execution plans based on construction and operational experience.\nCoordinate field activities with operations, inspection staff, safety, land, completions, and other affected groups to ensure all work is performed in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.\nManage contractors by assisting with identification of qualified companies, conducting bid walks, and monitoring progress, safety, and the quality work performed.\nPerform regular Control of Work inspections to ensure construction is being performed safely and in accordance with all required standards.\nWork with engineers, supply chain and warehouse personnel on logistics for receiving, offloading and storage of equipment and materials.\nSupervise inspection personnel to ensure they remain current with site supervisor, safety, construction, and operational training.\nReview and approve weekly inspection personnel time sheets to ensure charges are allocated to the correct AFEs.\nReview invoices and daily tickets to ensure Apache is receiving full value for services rendered.\nEnsure approved work orders or change orders are in place prior to performing any work.\nBe familiar with applicable industry construction standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, OSHA, etc.\nLead incident investigations to identify the root cause and follow-up with training and communications to inspectors / contractors that will reduce the potential for future incidents.\nAssist operations personnel with troubleshooting and proper operation of facilities.\nParticipate in industry functions and portray a positive image for Apache.\nSafeguard all company assets.\nBe familiar with Apache Facility Construction Standards and apply to all construction projects.\nReview all repair procedures and methods to ensure that safety hazards and environmental impact(s) are minimized.\nUnderstand Apache’s MOC process and when to apply it to construction work.\nQualifications & Experience\nThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n10+ years of related construction supervision or related experience required.\nMust possess knowledge of surface equipment to diagnose problems and be able to provide recommendations for equipment type and design considerations.\nMust be proficient in computer skills including MS TEAMS, Excel, Word, Outlook.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and grammar skills.\n\nCompetencies\nThe successful candidate will lead by example through successfully demonstrating the following:\nCore Competencies\nCommunication: Writes, speaks, and presents information effectively and persuasively across communication setting;\nResults: Pursues work with energy, drive, and results orientation to positively impact Apache’s business success;\nCollaboration: Works in partnership with others and encourages different perspectives, while building and maintaining trust; and\nCulture: Willingness and ability to align one’s behavior with the needs, priorities, and goals of Apache.\nLeadership Competencies\nServant Leadership: Inspires and enables performance excellence through feedback, empathy, development and empowerment;\nStrategic Mindset: Applies business acumen to see the big picture, understand business issues, and exhibit financial stewardship;\nChange Leadership: Inspires change by challenging the status quo, generating support, and executing improvement projects to achieve business outcomes; and\nLeading Effective Teams: Enables performance excellence through effective structure, delegation, and motivation.\nCompany Overview\nOur primary product is energy, and where there is affordable, abundant energy, people are given greater opportunities to elevate their families to higher standards of living.
