Validation Engineer

Our Client, a HVAC and Refrigeration Organization company, is looking for a Validation Engineer for their Auburn Hills, MI location.Responsibilities:The Validation Engineer is responsible to lead electrical feature testing for specific vehicle programs and should be capable of working with suppliers, various Engineering Support teams including systems, wiring, design release engineers, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams as required to validate and resolve electrical issues to support successful vehicle launch.Create test plans for electrical features across the vehicle: cluster, radio, body control module, telematics, and powertrainDevelop, maintain, and execute test plans (DVP&R) at the vehicle levelReport defects based upon test plan failuresDevelop and maintain subsystem test benchesRoot cause analysis of issues foundProvide feedback on System Requirements to ensure specs are testableRequirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceRelevant automotive experienceKnowledge of CAN based communication and toolsExperience with multimeters and oscilloscopesKnowledge of CAN-FD and Ethernet protocolCreating test plansPerforming System Behavior Testing4.00 Years of ExperienceSkills:Category Name Required Importance ExperienceAreas of Expertise Automotive Yes 1Why Should You Apply?Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
