Candidates must have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and aligning industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.\n\n*A current, valid TWIC card is required. Applicants without an active TWIC card will not be considered for this position.*\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, and repair industrial machinery\n* Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify needed repairs\n* Install and replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, couplings, conveyors, shafts, and related components\n* Perform equipment alignment, leveling, and precision measurements\n* Use dial indicators, levels, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools\n* Read and follow blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work instructions\n* Assist with rigging, lifting, positioning, and setting machinery\n* Safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and related equipment\n* Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections\n* Follow lockout/tagout and all site-specific safety procedures\n* Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized\n* Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and completed work to supervision\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n* Previous industrial millwright or mechanical-maintenance experience\n* *Current and valid TWIC card*\n* Knowledge of industrial machinery, bearings, couplings, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors\n* Experience with mechanical alignment and precision measuring tools\n* Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and equipment drawings\n* Basic rigging knowledge\n* Ability to troubleshoot and complete mechanical repairs\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a crew\n* Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in physically demanding positions\n* Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds\n* Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or changing shifts when required\n* Dependable transportation and consistent attendance\n* Ability to pass all required pre-employment and site-access screening\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n* Three or more years of industrial millwright experience\n* Experience in ports, shipyards, manufacturing plants, steel mills, paper mills, terminals, or other heavy-industrial environments\n* Conveyor-system maintenance experience\n* Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment experience\n* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification\n* NCCER Millwright certification\n* Forklift, aerial-lift, or rigging certifications\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis position is located at an active industrial facility.
