You will commit to providing excellent experiences and memories of a lifetime . Primary activities include our aerial adventure course , climbing wall , and mining sluice . Other guided activities in support of our group sales and events teams as applicable. ESSENTIAL DUTIESL ead our guests on outdoor excursions including: guided interpretive hikes, aerial ropes course, and other activities as assigned.Help conduct routine maintenance and inspection of the aerial ropes course.Perform general maintenance tasks including trail work, sign making, and supporting other departments projects.Respond to customer concerns / questionsContribute to a positive working environmentMaintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environmentPromote and ensure safe practices using all required PPE and adhering to proper safety protocols in all activitiesInspect equipment for safety concernsPromote and market activit y options to our guestsHelp oversee stock levels and alert management when supplies are neededA ttend daily pre-shift meetings and necessary trainingsGather guest feedback and recommend improvements to managementEstablish pre-function side work to be performed and make sure all equipment is accounted for and in good condition, notifying the Manager of any issues.Use and understand Points of Sale.Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service by anticipating the needs of our guests even before they realize what they needResolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management. Notify supervisor of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items or alleged thefts.Develop and maintain an organizational culture, values and reputation with staff and guests.Ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment .Act as a representative of Crystal Mountain with guests & community members.Abide by all Crystal Mountain employment guidelines.Off mountain shifts supporting group sales & events may occasionally be required .Other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSBasic First Aid & CPR RequiredEMT /WFR/WFA certification preferredAll guides must complete mandatory Aerial Course training in spring.High energy, p ositive attitude and excellent communication skillsBasic knowledge of P.O.S. systems.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while in operation.Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position at least 50 pounds occasionally.Comfort working at heights, this position will utilize full body harness and routinely navigate features of the aerial challenge course.Must be able to climb, balance, and otherwise navigate all elements of the aerial ropes course.Auditory and visual acuity to operate radios, mobile devices, and basic outdoor equipment constantly.Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing, and pulling constantly.Manual dexterity to operate technical equipment associated with the aerial ropes course.Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking constantly.Talking and hearing occur continuously in communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees, must be able to listen and respond with proper customer service.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactoril y .
