UES is a nationwide leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety, and Building Envelope.\n\nSummary\nThe Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in overseeing drilling operations, sample and data collection, subcontractor management, data evaluation, and the preparation of comprehensive reports for clients and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate is a dependable and trustworthy leader who excels in a dynamic environment, where both collaborative teamwork and independent decision-making are essential.\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Body motions and movements include bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, pulling, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and pushing, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWork is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment\nOccasional driving may be required\nThis is not a remote position.\nThis role will be based on the selected job posting location.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nCreate and update proposals for diverse projects across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.\nManage environmental projects, including groundwater monitoring, to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project specifications.\nConduct field investigations and sampling, serving as the lead report writer and senior author for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA, and site assessments.\nOversee assessments related to asbestos, lead paint, mold, and indoor air quality.\nAnalyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data for project planning and design.\nPrepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and invoices; manage project budgets and schedules to ensure financial and temporal targets are met.\nEnsure project deliverables meet established quality standards and that outcomes align with client expectations.\nAddress and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle effectively and efficiently.\nRespond to client inquiries promptly and assist with their needs, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.\nOrganize and maintain client-provided documents and files for tracking and operational purposes.\nHandle special client requests related to typing and billing with professionalism and attention to detail.\nMaintain regular attendance to ensure consistent project management and team support.\nAdhere to established safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support project success and organizational goals.\nRequired Qualifications:\nValid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check Criteria), may or may not be required to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role\nAbility to pass a background check screening in accordance with Florida’s Jessica Lunsford Act (or equivalent state classification)\nHighly organized and able to multitask\nSelf-driven and dynamic in a team environment\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software\nAbility to read and write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as writing routine reports and correspondence and speaking effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers/clients\nAbility to function in a high-stress environment, be a strong multi-tasker, and be a team player\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related field.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in project management with focus in Phase 1 and Phase 2 ESA and site assessments.\nProven experience in report writing.\nProven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.\nWho We Are:\nUES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
