This is a contract position, there are no requirements to meet a certain amount of hours each week. We pay a set rate for each class taught.\nDuties\nLead instructor-led training sessions on CPR, AED operation, first aid, BLS, and protocols for diverse audiences\nUtilize adult education principles to create interactive lesson plans that cater to varying learning styles\nDemonstrate proper techniques using first aid instruction simulation dummies and emergency defibrillation trainers\nAssess participant competency through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback\nMaintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and certification documentation\nEnsure all training equipment, including AEDs and first aid supplies, are properly maintained and sanitized\nStay current with the latest first aid protocols, certification standards, and industry best practices\nSkills\nProven experience in adult education and classroom instruction with strong communication skills\nExpertise in CPR, AED operation, first aid instruction and training instruction\nFamiliarity with first aid instruction simulation dummies and emergency defibrillation trainers\nAbility to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to different skill levels and learning needs\nExcellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners\nLifeguard experience or swimming proficiency is a plus for demonstrating water rescue techniques\nStrong organizational skills to manage multiple training sessions efficiently and accurately record outcomes\nJoin us as a CPR / BLS Instructor and be at the forefront of saving lives!
