Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting children at all developmental stages, from early intervention through elementary, in a dynamic school-based setting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with young learners across three closely situated locations, as well as providing in-home sessions in Clawson. You'll play a vital part in helping students find their voices and thrive in educational and home environments.Key Qualifications:Current Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist Certification requiredExperience delivering speech-language services to early childhood, elementary, and PreK populations preferredStrong communication and organizational abilitiesProficiency collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teamsReliable transportation for travel among three schools and home-based visits (all within a short driving distance)Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse speech and language needs (early intervention and PreK-elementary)Conduct assessments and document student progressProvide therapy sessions at Clawson Early Childhood Center, Japhet, Guardian Angels, and in-home environmentsConsult with teachers, caregivers, and staff to support generalization of skillsCreate engaging materials and activities to maximize student progressParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planningMaintain detailed records in compliance with state and school policiesProgram Details:Contract position with a summer schedule of 5-10 hours per week, shifting to 32.5 hours per week during the regular school yearAssignment runs from June 1, 2026 through Thanksgiving 2026Compensation ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, reflecting expertise and credentialsTake the next step in your professional journey and make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families.
