This person should be a self-starter, able to view different parts of the system as a whole and think outside of the box.\nThis position will be responsible for the design and development of HVAC/R software solutions using programmable controllers and established product platforms. This position will also assist in providing technical support within the region.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:\n\nDesigns, develops, and implements programmable control solutions for the HVAC/R industry\nTrains customers in the use of proprietary hardware and software solutions\nInteracts and visits with customers, as required to support the development of application software\nAssists customers in the development and implementation of control solutions\nAssesses existing control logic to identify issues and potential improvements\nPossesses working knowledge of the full range of product platforms\nWorks with the sales team to determine customer control requirements\nWorks with sales team and marketing teams to provide feedback based on customer requests, industry trends, and domain knowledge to develop and enhance electronic service offerings.\nProvides support and troubleshooting to customers for Carel products and software solutions\n\nCOMPETENCIES\n\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\n\nProblem Solving\nProject Management\nTechnical Skills\nCommunication Skills\nTeamwork\nDecision-making\nAnalytical Skills\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate with a group of people and interact with customers.\n\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\n\nAny HVAC/R or ASHRAE certifications or registrations are a plus.
