Able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment. Operator is expected to use his/her experience and judgement to make decisions considering safety and efficiency.Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team membersEnsure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followedUnderstand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasksUnderstand and ensure safety of team membersMonitor and track field data as requested by superintendentMaintain paperwork dailyOperate heavy equipment includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and drivingOperate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life in accordance to company policies and proceduresPerform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need corrected, report problems or defects immediatelyHeavy Equipment includes (but not limited too): Excavator, Dozer, Off Road Truck, Motor Grader, Backhoe, Skid Steer, Roller, Reclaimer, etcWhat we look for:High School Diploma / GEDOSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred)CPR / First Aid Training (Preferred)Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to detailsProblem SolvingUnderstand earthwork / utility means and methodsTravel for periods of time, as projects requireFlexible to help where neededPowered by JazzHROUkuApFPQq
